You will taste two types of oil - extra virgin olive oil and oil obtained by pressing together olive fruit and whole lemons. You will see the practices and traditional ways of preparing Dalmatian desserts. All products are made by hand and according to old recipes with particular attention paid to the quality and nutritional value. You will have the opportunity to taste arancini, limuncini, sugared almonds, prune cake, fig cake, fig and prune jam, and time in the showroom to shop. Leaving the town of Trogir, you will take a 75-minute drive by coach to the famous Krka River Waterfalls . Located in lovely Krka National Park , the falls cascade over 17 natural barriers. Krka is one of the seven National Parks in Croatia and was formed to protect the Krka River. The whole area is rich with endemic species - vegetation as well as birds and fish. This tour will take you to the most attractive part of the park - the Skradinski Buk Waterfalls. The highest waterfall is 151 feet high which makes it the highest gypsum barrier in Europe . Above the falls there is a large plateau that offers spectacular views of the area. Your guided visit to the park will include a small ethnological exhibit and the old mill which is still in use.There is a path around the falls and you will have two hours of free time to explore before your 75-minute drive back to Trogir.
