Leaving from the port by coach, you will have a 20-minute drive to the mountain bike station in Dassia, where you will select your bike and receive the necessary instructions. In the company of your local guide, your mountainbike adventure will begin with a short and easy uphill climb to the village of Kato (Lower) Korakiana. Once there you will have a short rest at a traditional "kafeneio" coffee shop, before continuing up the narrow village asphalt road to the village of Ano (Upper) Korakiana, one of Corfu's most colorful and traditional villages resting on the foothills of Mount Pantokrator, with excellent views over 'the Land of the Gods,' the inner plains of the island stretching below. Via a narrow paved alley, you will then make your way to the picturesque village of Saint Marcos (Agios Markos), an old Venetian settlement with stone-built houses - most of which have been carefully restored to their original condition by their caring owners - and a Byzantine chapel. At the local 'Panorama' Taverna you will enjoy a light but heartening "meze" after which you will make your way down the hill towards the blue sea and follow the coastal road back to the mountainbike station.
