Vulcano consists of three old craters. The first, in the south between Monte Aria and Monte Saraceno, has been extinct for centuries; the GranCratere , on the other hand, is still active, the last eruption occurring in 1890. Vulcanello, the third crater, is a promontory on the north eastern tip of the island created almost 2,000 years ago by an eruption. Then, it was selected to host the 2004 America's Cup and received a massive injection of cash - buildings were restored, streets in the historic center pedestrianized - giving the town and its people a new confidence. You will depart via motor coach and drive to Hal-Qormi, to Razzett l-Antik [Old Farmhouse]. There you will participate in a cooking challenge where you will be assigned to one of six kitchenettes, provided with setup, ingredients, aprons, and supervised by their Chef. Everyone will be encouraged to participate in the cooking. A table with ingredients will be provided in the center of your workstation, and you and your team will be asked to prepare a particular dish, according to the ingredients provided.
